When we were asked to tell our experience at Cattolica Ancora Hotel, we were very happy.
No doubts: we come back every year! Of course we also visit other places, but this holiday is a fact!
Our “week at the sea” in Cattolica means meeting again our second family.
We love the Ancora Hotel, a place where everything tastes of tradition and family management.
The bright and luminous eyes of Filippo and Federica make the difference and represent the enthusiasm and the fantasy of this third hotelier generation.
At Ancora Hotel everything’s simple:
rooms can satisfy all family needs; there are swimming pool and Jacuzzi to delight children and adults; entertainment is kind and in a few minutes walk we can leave our quiet accommodation and reach the beach and the city centre; and my husband appreciate the safe parking garage.
The staff knows our needs and I can say we’re almost “friends”.

When my daughter was a baby,
she used to eat fresh creamy vegetable soup and it was me that decided what vegetable to use!
They take care of you at the Ancora Hotel.
And my little boy could choose among a wide number of dishes and even eat them before my husband and I, so that we could have a relaxed dinner; after all we too are on holiday!
The cooking is fantastic.
We could chose between fish or meat dishes and the buffet offered always something typical.
No fixed time and the possibility to change meals make your stay at Ancora Hotel easy.
We want to focus on the unique details of their hospitality.
Filippo, with Bussolo a “vintage” Volkswagen van that drives crazy my sons, organizes three excursions every week: the Cattolica’s Aquarium, the Gradara’s Hawks, the boat excursion to Fiorenzuola at the San Bartolo Park. All in one you have a beach holiday with the possibility to explore the surroundings.
During these activities you have the opportunity to meet the other guests and therefore make new friends; relationship are very important in Romagna but above all they are important for our host. That’s what makes an experience something special: smiles, kindness and the pleasure of a chat.
Every year this is our appointment.
Year after year we love to see some of our friends met at the Ancora Hotel.
Usually they prefer the independence of the residence accommodation (they have a pet and three children)! That’s why the washing machine of the apartment is a big solution for them. Often they get the meals at the hotel and eat together in their apartment; sometimes instead they eat with us at the hotel. Their dog can stay with them, because at the Ancora Hotel there’s a veranda where pets can stay with they’re owners during meals.
Well, this is a place where relationships, comfort and attentions are very important.
Here at the Ancora Hotel families are loved and feel as if they were at home.
